About Lazarus "Lazzie"

This handsome boy is Lazarus, a 3-4 year old, 50 lb., black Lab mix who goes by Lazzie, Russie, or Laz. Lazzie is a volunteer favorite because he is a calm, gentle, and quiet guy with a gorgeous, shiny coat. He loves lounging and cuddling on the bed with his people and other dogs, and he gets along well with dogs of all sizes, including a chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie he currently lives with. Lazzie enjoyed socializing at a local adoption event, where he was sweet and gentle with everyone he met. He came to the rescue suffering from mange and an upper respiratory infection, found alone in a ditch, but he is now healthy, strong, and strikingly handsome.

Ideal Home

Lazzie enjoys being around other dogs and people. He is likely also cat and kid friendly.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie is fully vaccinated and neutered. He has fully recovered from his past health issues.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained.
