Meet Rustic Ridge Elkhounds. We are from Ohio and have been breeding Norwegian Elkhounds since 2012. At Rustic Ridge Elkhounds, we take pride in raising well-socialized, healthy, and happy puppies in a loving family environment. Our dogs are more than just pets; they are cherished members of our family. Located on 200 acres in a peaceful rural setting, our Elkhounds enjoy plenty of space to roam, play, and develop their natural instincts. All three of our breeding dogs are expertly trained hunters, skilled in tracking squirrel and raccoon, and are an integral part of our family’s outdoor activities. We focus on raising puppies that not only excel in the field but are also well-mannered, gentle companions. Our puppies are carefully socialized with other dogs on the property and receive constant attention, love, and care from our family. We are committed to providing our puppies with a strong foundation for a lifetime of health, happiness, and companionship. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
