Max is a goofy, loveable doggo looking for a committed owner, friend, and companion. After being returned from his adopters, Max has found himself figuring out how to trust people in the comfort of his foster home, but it's time he goes out into the world to meet his people. Max's foster family knows that the right home for Max includes daily walks to help him focus, bond, and feel comfortable in his new world. They also recommend a crate in a quiet place where he can get a good night's rest, enrichment toys and games so he can have a safe outlet for his strong desire to chew, and slow introductions to new people and dogs so he can feel safe and not like he has to protect himself and his family. Max's foster family is committed to his success in his new home, so they are sponsoring a training package with Tried and True Canines for his adopters! Max is kid-friendly, but homes with children usually come with unpredictable chaos, so a home without children will probably be best for him. He has so much love to give someone who will give him a chance and commit to working with him to make him feel safe. He's housebroken, crate trained, and great in boarding or at doggy daycare. He is a playful dog, so if your dog is looking for a new bestie, Max is your guy! Bottom line, if you're looking for a velcro dog who will repay you in droves for giving him a home, Max is your guy!

Ideal Home
