Ned

Hi, my name is Ned! I'm a handsome boy with fur that looks black but turns a beautiful brown in the sunshine, and I've got adorable white socks on my toes. While I might have a bit of a grumpy expression, don't let that fool you – I'm a super happy and loving pup! I arrived in Minnesota from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky Day, as part of "The Three Amigos." I'm already potty trained and kennel trained, but I'm also trustworthy enough to be left out when you're away. At night, I'm a world-class snuggler and love to sleep right beside my foster mom. I know "sit," "off," "come," and "wait," and I'm working hard on "down" and "stay." I think training classes would be a blast, and it would be a great way for us to bond! I absolutely love chasing anything that rolls, playing tug-of-war with unstuffed toys, and going on treat hunts. I do have a bit of a counter-surfing habit, but I'm learning to "off" and am pretty good at understanding what it means! My bark is a bit unusual for my size; it sounds like a small animal when I'm scared, but luckily, that doesn't happen often. I enjoy wrestling and playing with dogs of all sizes, and my foster mom affectionately calls me "Jaws" because I love to show off my teeth and gums when I'm playing – it's my way of trying to look tough! I also go by "Snuffles" because I have to eat my meals from a snuffle mat to help me slow down, and I'm a fast drinker, so my water is rationed. I have a wonderful 10-year-old human foster sister who adores me, and I'm friendly with her friends too, so I'm good with kids. I haven't met a cat yet, but I'm sure I'd want to say hello! I get along with the resident dogs in my foster home, but I'm the smallest and sometimes get picked on, which is why I really need another dog to live with. After being here for a few months, I rely on my foster brother for comfort and warmth, and I need a canine companion to cuddle, wrestle, and snuggle with. I'm not built to be an only dog. I try really hard to be the sweetest boy, and while I might do a naughty thing now and then, I truly want to make my forever family happy. I'm eager to play, cuddle, learn, and enjoy yummy treats. I promise to listen and make good choices if you promise to love me and teach me! My dream day involves lots of food and treats, sofa snuggles, walks, and playtime. I'm a bit like Daffy Duck – sassy and a little looney! My favorite toys are anything the other dogs are playing with. I love to play all day, then crash hard for a bit before starting all over again. What makes my tail wag the hardest is when someone wants to hold me!

Ideal Home

I need a family that has time for me, someone who will play with me, walk me, teach me, and help me be the best boy ever. I'd love to sleep in your bed and on the sofa, as I'm a big fan of cuddles! I'm not built to be an only dog and really need another dog to live with.
