Coffee

Coffee is a loving, intelligent, and playful male Labrador Creole mix who is approximately 1 year old and weighs about 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024, after being found with his siblings in a field. Coffee is social with humans, children, and other dogs, and enjoys playtime, walks, and receiving affection. He can be a little shy at first with new people but quickly warms up and melts into your arms. He's also described as affectionate, docile, loyal, joyful, and funny. Coffee is crate and leash trained.

Ideal Home

Coffee would thrive in a home with fenced backyard. He would do best with active families that enjoy outdoor activities and have an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals. Owners should have experience with dog behavior and training, and possess high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has completed a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test and certificate, a negative heartworm test certificate, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. He also received a health certificate and has a vaccine booklet. Please note that Coffee is not house-trained.

Training & Support

Coffee is crate and leash trained. However, he is not house-trained, and adopters should be prepared for this. It is important to understand that rescued animals may exhibit behaviors that require patience, education, and consistent training.

Transporation

Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation is available and will be delivered to the adopter's home address, with a transport fee of $400.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure.
