Luther

Luther is a sweet, silly, high-energy pup with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling. With his bouncy floppy ears and playful spirit, he's ready to find a forever home that will enjoy both his zoomies and his snuggles. Luther is approximately 1 year old, neutered, and weighs about 55 pounds. He's a Staffordshire Terrier mix who is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas.

Ideal Home

Luther would thrive in an active home that can provide him with regular exercise and continued guidance. A backyard would be a bonus for his zoomies, but daily walks and playtime are also perfect. He enjoys being close to his humans and absolutely melts for belly scratches. While he doesn't require another dog in the home, if you don't have one, we'd like to discuss your plans for his socialization.

Training & Support

Luther is house-trained and has not had any accidents in his foster home. He sleeps in his crate and settles down after a brief protest. He is learning not to chew on things he shouldn't when left unsupervised. While he walks beautifully on leash with other dogs, he can be somewhat barky when seeing other dogs from a distance. This is something that can continue to improve with training. He is still gaining confidence with getting in and out of cars.
