MEET HAM!

Ham, also known as Clarabelle, is a joyful, medium-energy girl who's around 10 years old. She was found as a stray with injuries and severe pneumonia but has made a full recovery thanks to her foster family and City of Elderly Love. Ham loves zoomies and also curling up under a heated blanket. She is social and enjoys meeting new people. We think she'd do well in a home with older children who can keep up with her playful spirit.

Ideal Home

Ham would be happiest in a home without other pets. She can be reactive to dogs on walks and shows too much interest in smaller animals. She would prefer to be the sole center of attention and would thrive in a quieter environment outside of the city, where she can enjoy her own yard and leisurely strolls in the park.

Ongoing Health

Ham has an old torn CCL in her knee that has healed but causes some arthritis. She should continue to take a glucosamine/joint supplement and may need pain management as she ages. She also has itchy skin and is on daily allergy medication, which may need to be adjusted seasonally. Ham recently had a dental cleaning and mammary masses removed and is feeling better than ever! She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
