Meet Goodwood Standard Smooths. Happy puppies for active families! If you like to be outdoors with your dachshund, then you have come to the right place! If you like to compete in AKC performance events, then you are definitely in the right place! I breed for prey drive in a most useful hunting hound for tracking wounded deer, competing in performance events, or for a great companion for the active family. I import breeding stock from Eastern Europe from hunters who actually use their dogs in field situations, or who compete seriously in such endeavors. ALL my dams and sires are AKC field champions or European hunting titled dogs. The AKC only recognized conformation championships in their descriptions. Don't be put off if you are not a hunter. These pups make awesome pets but need lots of exercise. These are not couch potatoes. Lifetime commitment to you and your puppy. FYI, my puppies are generally sold before they are born, so if you want one of my dogs, it is best to start a conversation with me about a year before you want your puppy. I am an AKC, UKC and IABCA conformation judge. I am an AKC earthdog and scent hound field trial judge. I am here to help you find a dachshund.
