Meet Camila and Regina, a bonded pair of sweet Shih Tzu girls looking for their forever home together! Camila is 1 year old and weighs about 8.6 lbs, with a beautiful white coat and dark brown markings. Regina is 10 months old and weighs around 8.2 lbs, with a similar white coat and light brown markings. These two affectionate and social pups love people and enjoy cuddles and attention. They walk well on a leash, are comfortable with crates, and travel nicely in the car. They also get along well with other dogs and are friendly with everyone they meet. Camila and Regina were found wandering together in Saltillo, Mexico, and after being checked by a veterinarian, they are now ready to find a loving family.
Ideal Home
Camila and Regina would thrive in an active family with a fenced backyard who enjoys outdoor activities. They are looking for a family with a genuine intention to rescue a dog and an understanding of the needs of street animals, requiring protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience are essential for these rescued pups.
Ongoing Health
Camila and Regina have undergone a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, a negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra. They also have a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period and may not be house-trained. Camila and Regina will need patience and understanding as they adapt to a new environment and build trust. Establishing a routine and clear boundaries will help them feel secure.

- Upon approval, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
Transportation
Camila and Regina are currently fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and are ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip if adopted. We offer door-to-door delivery through a partnered transport company. Trips are scheduled 3-4 times a year with 15-20 adoptions per trip. A transport fee of $400 USD covers the cost from Mexico to your home. You will receive real-time updates throughout their journey.
