Lucy June Scout is a barely over two-month-old bundle of joy with an adventurous spirit and an incredibly sweet, easygoing personality. She approaches the world with bright eyes and the quiet confidence of a puppy who knows good things are coming her way. She's curious without being reckless and affectionate without being demanding, making her a truly wonderful companion. Lucy appears to be a Labrador Retriever and Carolina Dog mix, though her breed and age are our best educated guess. She's off to an exceptional start, thanks to a foster home dedicated to helping her grow into a confident, well-rounded adult. Lucy is living with other dogs and has been thoughtfully introduced to new people, animals, and everyday experiences. Her foster describes her as wonderfully social, a fast learner, and an attentive listener who genuinely enjoys meeting the world around her.
Ideal Home
Lucy would likely thrive in a home ready for all the joy, laughter, and occasional puppy shenanigans that come with raising a young dog. She's equally happy exploring the world or curling up after a day of adventures.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Like any young puppy, Lucy is still learning all of life's important lessons, but she's making wonderful progress. She's already using potty pads successfully and has begun understanding that grass is the perfect place to do her business when she's outside. She'll continue learning house manners, leash skills, and all the basics as she grows, and she's proving every day that she's happy to take your directions and is eager to learn alongside her people.

Lucy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
