Wolfy

Wolfy is a delightful 5-year-old dog who came to us when his previous family could no longer manage his medical needs and were facing displacement. Despite his health challenges, Wolfy is a very sweet and playful companion. He has a silly streak and loves to choose a stuffed animal to accompany him on potty breaks. Wolfy gets along with most other dogs, but his true joy comes from interacting with humans. He has experience with children of various ages and does very well with them. Wolfy was named after a little boy who thought he resembled a wolverine!

Ideal Home

Wolfy would thrive in a home where he can be showered with affection. Due to his medical condition, he is considered high risk for anesthesia and has not been neutered. Therefore, he can only be placed in a home with other male dogs and/or spayed females.

Ongoing Health

Wolfy has environmental allergies and has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and Addison's disease. He is currently on daily Apoquel and Vetmedin. His last Addison's crisis was in February of the previous year, which required Prednisone for recovery.

Training & Support

Wolfy is described as house-trained. He prefers human interaction over playing with other dogs.
