Meet Sonny! Sonny is an estimated 4-month-old Heeler/Bully mix with a heart full of love and a wagging tail ready to find his forever home. He's up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines and preventative care, and he's been dewormed. Sonny is a sweet boy who is eager to please and ready to start his new life with a loving family.
Ideal Home
Sonny would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, training, and affection. He's a young, energetic pup who will need an owner committed to helping him grow into a well-behaved adult dog.
Ongoing Health
Sonny is currently up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines and preventative care, including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He has also been dewormed.
Training & Support
As a young pup, Sonny will benefit from consistent training and socialization. We recommend enrolling him in positive reinforcement training classes to help him learn basic commands and good manners. Early socialization will also be key to ensuring he grows into a confident and well-adjusted dog.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- The adoption fee is $500, plus a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit. You'll receive a $100 refund once Sonny is spayed/neutered by your vet within the timeframe specified in the adoption agreement.
- Alternatively, a total adoption fee of $750 includes a complimentary spay/neuter voucher for the Potter League Spay & Neuter Clinic in Warwick, RI. This voucher can only be added at the time of adoption and covers surgery, pain medication, and an e-collar. Please note their waitlist is typically 3-6 months.
- A $150 MA Quarantine Fee applies to all Massachusetts residents, and any adopter adopting a pet that has completed the Massachusetts quarantine process. This fee helps offset increased costs associated with MA fosters, quarantine, and transport compliance.
Transportation
Sonny is currently located in Smithfield, RI, and will be available for transport arrival on 7/18/26. Non-MA residents can pick him up in Smithfield, RI. MA residents can pick him up on 7/20/26 from our quarantine facility in Westport, MA.
