Charlie is an energetic girl with a big heart! She's playful, fun-loving, and absolutely thrives with exercise and outdoor time. Charlie is learning recall and will come back when called on our property. She's loyal and listens well once her energy has been spent. Charlie also boasts a gorgeous coat with unique markings and is eager to learn, though she is still working on her training. She was on the euthanasia list at a local shelter after being returned three times, as families weren't prepared for her high energy. Once brought into our care and given the time she needed, she blossomed into the spirited girl she is today. While Charlie still has her moments of excitement, like chasing squirrels or sprinting after a ball, regular exercise and space to stretch her legs help her become calm, attentive, and responsive. She's one of the few dogs we trust to roam our property because she listens and returns with recall. Charlie isn't perfect yet – she barks more than some might prefer and could use continued training – but she is incredibly smart, affectionate, and ready to thrive with the right person. With consistency and love, Charlie is going to make someone very happy!
