Meet Enzo! This handsome 11-year-old, 11-pound Rat Terrier mix is searching for a calm and understanding home where he can truly shine. Enzo is a sensitive soul who adores gentle affection and cuddles, especially on the couch or in bed. He's not a fan of being picked up, but he'll happily accept pets and quiet companionship. We don't know much about his past, but we do know that the leash is a big source of fear for him. This means he'll need a patient and experienced adopter who can provide him with a securely fenced yard for safe exploration, eliminating the need for leash walks.
Ideal Home
Enzo would thrive in an adult-only home where he can enjoy peace and quiet. While he coexists well with other dogs, he's not looking for a playmate. His ideal humans will understand his sensitivities and provide a safe, secure environment. We are still learning about his compatibility with cats.
Ongoing Health
Enzo is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines. He is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Enzo is crate trained and enjoys treats. He thrives in a peaceful environment. His adopter will need to be patient and understanding of his fear of leashes, focusing on providing him with a secure outdoor space.
