Raya Everly is a truly special girl who is looking for a human who appreciates the quiet magic of trust being earned. She’s a beautiful Husky mix, about 1 year old and weighing around 48 lbs. Raya is a thoughtful and emotionally gentle dog who observes the world before deciding to trust it. Once she does, she fits in as if she’s always belonged. While she might not be a cuddler by nature, she will calmly tolerate affection. Raya is for someone who finds meaning in routine, gentle coexistence, and celebrates the small wins – a relaxed body, a soft glance, a tail wag from across the room. She embodies peaceful companionship rather than boisterous displays of affection.
Ideal Home
Raya thrives on routine and consistency. She enjoys sunbathing, exploring the yard, and chewing on bones. Inside, she is not destructive, is crate trained (and loves her crate as a safe space), fully potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. She is mellow and low-energy, content with a nice stroll and then a nap. Raya is dog-friendly and can peacefully coexist with other dogs, enjoying pack walks and exploration. However, she prefers her own space and is happiest when other dogs allow her to do her own thing. She would do best with calm, respectful dogs who are content sharing a home without expecting constant friendship or play, or she would be perfectly happy as an only dog.

Training & Support
Raya is generally an easy dog to live with and train. She is crate trained and potty trained. One of her adorable quirks is her full-body stretch when she's taken out of her kennel. Raya is located at our Texas-based property. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
