He may take a moment to warm up, but once he feels safe, he's all in — playful, affectionate, and eager to be part of the action. He loves spending time with people and other dogs, and his gentle nature makes him easy to fall for. He is soft, sensitive, and trusting once he knows you, brave in small steps, and loyal with his people.

Ideal Home

Gunnar is going to be a large dog, so a home with a backyard to run and play would be perfect for him. He's an active boy who would thrive with a family that enjoys walks, adventures, and plenty of playtime. Another friendly dog in the home would be a bonus, as he loves canine companionship and gains confidence from it.

Training & Support

Gunnar is doing wonderfully with his training. He's about 100% potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. He's also working on crate training and doing well with consistency and routine. On leash, he walks nicely and enjoys getting out to explore. Gunnar is ready to grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be — he just needs a family who will give him love, patience, and a place to stretch those long legs.
