This sweet, loving, and gentle companion was a devoted mom in a high-intake shelter, caring for her puppies despite the stressful environment. She is now safe in foster care and ready to find her forever home. Sugar has an affectionate nature and truly enjoys being with her people. She takes treats gently and already knows basic commands like "sit." She is treat-motivated, eager to please, and loves receiving affection from her humans. In the home, Sugar strikes a nice balance with a medium energy level. She enjoys walks and spending time with her people, but she is also happy to relax and settle in afterward. She can be a little jumpy when excited, but her enthusiasm is gentle and sweet. Sugar has done her job as a mom, and now it is her turn to be someone's cherished companion. She is ready for a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of a family.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. All vaccinations, deworming, and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee. A microchip is included with an additional registration fee.

Training & Support

Sugar knows "sit" and takes treats gently. She can be a little jumpy when excited, but is gentle and sweet with her enthusiasm.
