Meet Mona - A Tiny Dog with a Huge Heart

Mona is a 2-year-old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) weighing just 11 pounds. This sweet little girl is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she's spending time with the people and pets she loves. One of Mona's most adorable traits is how nurturing she is. She has become completely smitten with a baby kitten in her foster home and proudly carries her little feline friend around as if it were her own baby. It's impossible not to fall in love with her sweet and caring personality. Mona is the definition of an easy companion. She loves snuggling with her family, hanging out with other dogs, relaxing on the couch, and joining you for car rides. She has a calm, easygoing temperament and fits beautifully into family life. Mona enjoys both her walks and playtime, with a moderate energy level but equally happy to curl up beside you for a nap or movie night.

Ideal Home

Mona gets along wonderfully with men, women, children, dogs of all sizes, and cats. She has shown no aggression and simply wants to be loved and included in whatever her family is doing.

Ongoing Health

Mona has been spayed, vaccinated, is heartworm negative, and microchipped. She also received ProHeart 12, providing one full year of heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Mona is leash trained, house trained, and crate trained. She enjoys both her walks and playtime and is happy to settle down for a nap or movie night.

Mona is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. Transport is available for out-of-state adopters for an additional $250 fee, utilizing USDA-certified transport teams.
