She thrives with gentle guidance and the opportunity to build confidence at her own pace.

Ideal Home

Evie would do best in a home with a confident and calm resident dog who can be a positive role model. She needs a quiet environment to decompress and a fenced yard is highly recommended for her to feel secure, though she walks well on a leash. While she's okay with cats, she would not do well with young children due to their potentially loud and active nature. Older children who can be respectful of her need for trust would be acceptable.

Evie appears to be housetrained. She will benefit from an adopter who can provide her with consistent patience and allow her to adjust to her new surroundings without pressure.
