Meet Phil Collins, an adorable 1 1/2 year old, 15 lb. schnauzer mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Phil absolutely loves people and enjoys making new friends. He gets along great with other dogs. Whether he's joining you for a walk, playing with his canine buddies, or curling up nearby, Phil is happiest when he's part of the action! He's a sweet boy with so much to offer the right family!

Phil's ideal home would be adult-only and perhaps with a calm, bigger dog.

Phil is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like many young dogs, Phil can become overly excited when visitors come over or when there is a lot going on around him. In those moments, he may redirect his excitement toward feet and ankles. This is not aggression but a response to overstimulation. Because of this behavior, Phil has been working with a professional trainer and has been making progress. His trainer will work with whoever adopts him to help provide the structure, consistency, and reinforcement strategies to allow Phil to continue his journey to his ideal self.
