Vallie PENDING

Hi there! I'm Vallie, a 4-year-old Cocker Spaniel with a heart as big as my charming personality. Born on October 26, 2021, I might have been the smallest pup in my litter, but I've grown into a 17-pound bundle of love and loyalty. I'm looking for my special human who wants a devoted shadow, a cozy snuggle partner, and an enthusiastic walking companion, all wrapped up in one silky-eared package. I know a whole vocabulary of commands like "sit," "heel," "down," "wait," "place," "come," and "off." I'm super motivated by treats and love to learn, but I do best with a patient and consistent person who means what they say. I just need a steady hand to guide me! I'm all up-to-date on my vaccines and got a clean bill of health on March 12, 2026, so I'm ready for a fresh start.

Ideal Home

I thrive with someone who is home often, loves the outdoors, and understands that I give my whole heart – but I need a little time to trust. I do beautifully with one person or a calm household. I've been known to win over anyone who sits still long enough to let me come to them. A fenced yard is a big plus (no gaps, please – I am curious), but I can adapt. I prefer calm, older kids and new dogs to be introduced slowly. Crowds can be overwhelming for me, and I don't do well with rain.

Ongoing Health

I have a sensitive tummy, so please be mindful of extra treats. I'm working on my comfort with haircuts and paw handling.

Training & Support

I'm a counter surfer, so keep an eye on those tasty smells! Please don't touch me when I have a high-value bone or toys. I can hold it for up to 12 hours in my crate or playpen without an accident.
