Once he’s had his exercise, he’s all about quiet companionship and connection. ALPHA was successfully living with his adoptive family with another female dog for 3+ years, until their home dynamic recently changed with the arrival of a new baby. Unfortunately, the increased activity and unpredictability have been overwhelming for him. This isn’t a fault — it’s simply a mismatch between ALPHA’s needs and a busy household with young children. He needs a quiet and calm home. ALPHA has had over $2,000 of professional training, with strong progress in structure, engagement, and behaviour. In the right environment, he does extremely well. ALPHA’s ideal home: - Adult-only household (no young children) - Calm, low-traffic environment - Someone who values a loyal, sensitive dog - Access to regular walks or a fenced yard - Fenced backyard, calm area is ideal ALPHA can become stressed in busy environments or with lots of people coming and going. But in a stable, quiet setting, he is an incredible companion—loyal, loving, and deeply bonded to his person. ALPHA wears a muzzle when going to the vet and on walks.
