Darla

Darla is a sweet girl who is still building confidence and learning social skills. She will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Having another confident, friendly dog in the home would help Darla continue to come out of her shell and feel secure. Darla and her siblings were abandoned outside their home without food or water. When their owner failed to return for them, Beauties & Beasts Rescue stepped in and brought all six puppies into safe care. Since then, Darla has been working hard on getting healthy and learning that people can be kind and safe while in boarding.

Ideal Home

Darla would thrive in a patient home where trust can be built over time. Another confident, friendly dog in the home is required to help Darla feel secure and come out of her shell.

Ongoing Health

Darla is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. An approved adopter will be required to continue the prescribed treatment plan and follow all medical guidelines. Beauties & Beasts Rescue will cover the cost of the remaining heartworm treatment as long as it is completed according to the veterinarian's recommendations.

Training & Support

Darla is still learning social skills and building confidence. Patience and consistency will be key to helping her blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Transportation

Darla is currently boarding at the Haysville Building at 7030 S Broadway, Haysville, KS. She is available to meet during public hours Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
