Meet Bessie, a delightful and charming puppy who is as unique as she is adorable! Bessie arrived with us as a "Pyrenees mix puppy," and while her exact lineage is a fun mystery, her loving nature and playful spirit are undeniable. At 18 weeks old, Bessie is a social butterfly, full of sweetness and intelligence. She's quick to learn, eager to please, and already has a good handle on crate training. While she's still mastering some puppy manners, her enthusiasm for life is infectious, and her selective understanding of commands is just part of her endearing charm.

Bessie thrives in a home filled with love, admiration, and plenty of opportunities for play. She is great with people, good with children, and respectfully curious about cats. Her happy, goofy energy is sure to bring smiles and make even the dullest days brighter.
Ongoing Health
Bessie is a healthy puppy. As with all puppies, she will require ongoing veterinary care, vaccinations, and preventative treatments as she grows.
Training & Support
Bessie is already crate trained and is working on other puppy manners. She has "enthusiastic participation and selective understanding," which means patience and positive reinforcement will be key. Homes considering a puppy should be prepared for: flexible schedules for potty training (puppies can only hold it for one hour per month of age), continued crate training until at least one year old to prevent chewing, and ample socialization with a variety of positive experiences. Raising a puppy is akin to caring for a human toddler; it requires at least a full year of patience, dedication, and consistent training to develop a well-adjusted dog. Providing appropriate toys, socialization, and obedience training are essential.
