Snowball

Snowball is a sweet boy who is approximately 2 years old and weighs 26 lbs. He's a happy little guy who always seems to be smiling! We suspect he's a terrier mix, possibly with some Jack Russell in him, given his energetic personality. Snowball was rescued from a life on a chain and is now loving his freedom to run and play. He’s affectionate and enjoys following his people around. He’s also a big fan of toys and hasn't destroyed any yet! Snowball had a past infection from a tight collar, but he's all healed now and will never be on a chain again.

Ideal Home

Snowball is good with other dogs of all sizes but can be a bit bossy. He might need a patient owner who can help him learn to come inside more reliably, as he sometimes hesitates at the door.

Ongoing Health

Snowball is microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. He has fully recovered from a past neck infection caused by a tight collar.

Training & Support

Snowball is kennel trained. He can sometimes be confused about coming inside, but this is easily corrected with patience and positive reinforcement. He is learning to be less bossy with other dogs.

Transportation

Snowball is currently located in the Memphis Area (TN/AR/MS), with most pets fostered in Red Banks, MS. We prefer to adopt within a 1-2 hour driving distance and will consider each application individually.
