Meet Tux! This handsome 1.5-year-old, 61-pound Black Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix is a true gem. Tux's story is one of hope and second chances. He was given a precious opportunity to live and has spent every day since proving how wonderful he is. He's a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to lounge, play with his favorite rope toy, and shower his humans with kisses. Tux is a champion cuddler and will happily sleep by your side, believing kisses are one of life's greatest gifts. His goofy personality and playful antics are sure to bring endless smiles and laughter to your home – his "zoomies" are reportedly a sight to behold!

Ideal Home

Tux would make an excellent companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, walking, exploring trails, or camping. He's also happy to relax on the deck during a backyard cookout.

Ongoing Health

Tux is neutered, microchipped, and current on all his shots. He is fully vetted and will receive a complete examination by his veterinarian to obtain a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Tux has already learned impressive off-leash manners and stays close to his foster. He rides wonderfully in the car, doesn't mind baths, is comfortable in a crate, and is doing very well with house training.
