Meet Nyx! This spunky 5-year-old pittie mix is ready to bring her boundless energy and affectionate spirit to a loving home. Nyx was found as a stray and has since blossomed in a foster home, proving to be a true spitfire with a heart of gold. She's a highly driven dog who loves to play fetch and tug, always up for an adventure or a good game of chase. Nyx is also a pro at crate training, settling in quietly until it's time for fun.

Ideal Home

Nyx would thrive in an active household with a consistent routine. She's great with male dogs and kids, but her compatibility with cats is still unknown. An owner dedicated to continuing her training and reinforcing the rules she's learned will be key to her happiness.

Ongoing Health

Nyx is a healthy girl who has completed a 4-week board and train program.

Training & Support

Nyx has made great strides in her training, especially with leash manners and general obedience. She is e-collar trained and would benefit from a family who will continue using this communication tool. While she has worked on her food guarding tendencies, it's recommended she be fed separately from other dogs and in her kennel during human mealtimes to ensure a smooth transition.
