Bella is a sweet senior chiweenie girl who came to ATDR via another rescue group. She was dumped at BARC by her owner, who requested she be euthanized. Bella was flea infested, missing patches of fur and was heavy heartworm positive. It hurts our hearts to know Bella was in that state of neglect as an 'owned' pet. She wasn't a stray. Bella has a heart murmur but that doesn't slow her down one bit. Bella is full of spunk and is ready for a forever home of her own.

Bella is a little doll. She is crate and house trained. Bella enjoys sunbathing outside. Her foster mom says she loves having her. She is a cuddle bug and will make a fantastic little lap dog after she’s on the road to better health!

Ideal Home

Bella would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a calm, sweet little girl to snuggle with. Her ideal home would be with someone who is retired or works from home looking for a warm pup to share their comfortable chair or sofa with! Bella can be a little bossy with the resident dogs, so she might be best as an only dog or maybe one other submissive dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

Bella has a heart murmur but that doesn't slow her down one bit. She was heartworm positive and has finished her treatment.

Training & Support

Bella is crate and house trained. She loves snuggling in your lap and playing with toys.
