Lucie

Lucie is a wonderfully affectionate 4 1/2 year old Husky mix who absolutely loves to snuggle and be close to her people. She has a silly and social nature, truly enjoying human company. Lucie gets along great with other dogs, including both large and small breeds, and is friendly with cats. She walks nicely on leash, knows some basic commands like "sit" and "touch," and even knows her name. Lucie is quick to form deep, meaningful bonds and will be a devoted companion.

Ideal Home

Lucie would thrive in an active home where she can be an integral part of the family. She will seek out exit routes if left alone and is capable of escape, so a secure fence or a commitment to keeping her on a leash when outside is a must.

Ongoing Health

Lucie is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate shots, micro-chipped, tested for heartworm, and receives monthly heartworm preventative medication. She has also been de-wormed.

Training & Support

Lucie knows some basic commands and walks well on leash. She is also noted to be capable of escape, so ensuring secure fencing or keeping her leashed outdoors will be important for her safety.
