Walter

Hi there, I'm Walter! I waddled into this place as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I think Walter suits me just fine. I'm about 10 years young and still have a little pep in my step, especially for walks. I like to take my time, sniff around, and just enjoy being a dog. I'm a sweet, calm guy who loves to be near people. I've made some dog friends here who are my size, and we get along great. I haven't met any big dogs yet, and I'm not sure about cats or kids, but I'm open to taking things slow. Oh, and I'm pretty sure I've got the whole potty thing figured out! Mostly, I'm just looking for a soft place to land, someone to love, and a cozy spot to call my own.

Ideal Home

Walter would love a home where he can take his time on walks and enjoy being near his people. He is unsure about cats and children, so a home that can introduce him slowly or one without them would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Walter is a senior dog, but otherwise, no specific health conditions are noted.

Training & Support

Walter has a good handle on potty training. He is still getting used to larger dogs and has not yet met cats or children. Slow introductions and patience will be key to his success in a new home.
