Princess is a delightful 4-year-old spayed female Terrier Pittie mix, weighing around 45-50 pounds. She has a heart full of love and energy, and she's eager to share it with her forever family! Princess was once in a high-kill shelter and returned for being too energetic and happy – can you believe it? Thankfully, she's now safe and settling into her foster home, showing a calmer side while still cherishing her zest for life. She absolutely adores car rides and squeaky toys, and her intelligence shines through as she knows her commands, especially when gently guided to sit for pets. She's a happy girl who truly thrives on attention and wants an owner who appreciates her joyful spirit. Princess is an avid chewer, so she'll need plenty of appropriate chew toys to keep her happy and out of trouble, much like a puppy! She also has a tendency to bark for attention, whether it's to go potty or receive some love.
Ideal Home
Princess would thrive in an active home with older children, an active couple, or an active single person. She needs a secure, fenced yard as she is not off-leash trained without one and would not be a good apartment dog. Her high energy level might be too much for very small animals, but she is otherwise friendly towards small dogs and cats. She can be the only pet or have a canine companion who can match her enthusiasm and energy.

Princess is up to date on all her vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
Training & Support
Princess is crate trained and house-trained. She knows commands like sit, come, stay, off, and heel for leash walking. While she can get excited and jump up for attention, she quickly learns to sit when corrected and given a command. She's a smart girl who understands how to behave to receive pets.
