Meet Rex! This sweet 1-year-old pittie is full of life and fun, and you'd never guess he's had a significant hip injury. He underwent major surgery when he was younger and has since made a remarkable recovery, feeling brand new! Rex loves other dogs, enjoys good belly rubs, and has been a star on Doggy Day Outs, meeting new friends like a pro. He's eager and happy to tackle any challenge, face all his fears, and love his forever family unconditionally. We promised Rex that the rest of his life would be the best of his life – could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Rex loves other dogs and would likely enjoy a home with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Rex had a hip injury that required major surgery. He has fully recovered and shows no lingering effects.

Training & Support

Rex is learning his leash skills and household manners. Like all rescue dogs, he will need continued training and socialization in his forever home.

Transporation

Rex is located in South Carolina and is transported to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
