Barney

Barney is the sweetest little guy, around 6 months old and weighing about 18 lbs of pure love and affection. He arrived at the shelter a few months ago after being found with mange, but thankfully, that's all in the past! His coat is now looking fantastic, even better than any photos can capture. Barney is playful, silly, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. He's a smart cookie, too, and is already crate trained and housebroken. Barney is truly a gem, and he's even cuter and smaller in person – a must-meet companion who is guaranteed to steal your heart!

Ideal Home

A fenced yard is important for hound types like Barney. He is a companion animal and must be kept inside the house with the rest of the family members.

Ongoing Health

Barney has fully recovered from his mange, and his coat looks great now.

Training & Support

Barney is crate trained and housebroken. He knows some basic commands and is worked with daily. We offer training tips and behavioral guidance to help our adopters succeed. We also offer boarding services for a reasonable fee. We stand by our dogs and offer a 10-day refund period and will almost always take our dogs back at any age.
