Meet Lyric! This lovely 2-year-old retriever mix has quite the story! She made her way to us all the way from Kuwait, having lived her whole life on the streets. Thankfully, our rescue partners stepped in and brought her to the US! Lyric has been with us for many months, patiently waiting for her forever home. She's a friendly and happy girl who absolutely adores other dogs. While she can be a little shy at first, with some love and delicious snacks, she truly blossoms. She's learning all about household manners and leash skills while in our care. Lyric is athletic and eager, making her a wonderful candidate for adventures and an active family life. She also has a special love for the water and her adoption fee is reduced! This sweet girl is ready for her happily ever after. We promised Lyric that the rest of her life would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?

Ideal Home

Lyric loves other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion. She is shy at first, so a home that can offer patience and positive reinforcement as she adjusts would be ideal.

Lyric is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lyric is working on household manners and leash skills. A home that can continue her positive training journey will set her up for success.

Transporation

We are located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
