Sunny

Meet Sunny! Sunny is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 30 pounds. She came to us from a difficult situation, so she can still be a little unsure of the world. Sunny is a sweet and gentle girl who is learning to trust and is making progress every day.

Ideal Home

Sunny gains confidence from other dogs, so she would thrive in a home with a friendly and confident canine companion to help guide her. We are recommending a home with children over the age of 8. Because Sunny can be a flight risk, she needs either a securely fenced yard or a family committed to keeping her on a leash at all times when outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Sunny is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on her preventative care.

Training & Support

Sunny is crate trained and views her crate as a safe space. She will need a patient family who can let her adjust at her own pace. With time, love, and understanding, Sunny will blossom into an amazing companion.
