Mopie

Meet Mopie, the professional sniff-inspector and tail-wagging extraordinaire! Originally from Texas and now enjoying the mountain life in Denver, Mopie is settling into his new surroundings and showing everyone what a special boy he is. Our best guess is that he's a Lab/Hound mix, which would explain his friendly personality and curious nature. He loves people of all ages and genuinely believes every human he meets could be his next best friend. Mopie is happiest when he's included in whatever you're doing – whether it's exploring a new trail, taking a neighborhood stroll, or simply following you from room to room, he wants to be part of the adventure. And after a day of fun? He's more than happy to trade explorer mode for couch snuggle mode. And of course, he's potty trained!

Ideal Home

Mopie would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself.

Training & Support

Like many dogs adjusting to a big new world, Mopie is still building confidence. He can be a little anxious at times and is currently working on crate training, where he may express his feelings with a few vocal opinions. Fortunately, this smart boy is incredibly food motivated and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience. He also does a great job entertaining himself with toys and bones when it's time to relax.
