Bella, a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, is a shining example of resilience and hope. She was found tied to a post at only one year old, abandoned by her family. Despite this heartbreaking beginning, Bella has blossomed into a bright, affectionate, and spirited young girl ready for a forever home. She weighs around 55lbs and is full of life and love.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an active home with someone who loves a smart, goofy, and affectionate Shepherd. She thrives with exercise, playtime, and fun training games. She needs an adopter who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in. Due to her tendency to want to chase cats, she would do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted and in excellent health. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and is on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bella is learning not to jump, though she still gets excited sometimes! She is fully housetrained and crate-trained. She may chew things she shouldn't when bored, so she'll do best with structure, toys, and plenty of activity. Her absolute favorite thing is a frozen peanut butter Kong.
