Meet Brody! He's a 5-year-old, 65-pound neutered male Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix who's the perfect blend of playful and cuddly. Brody is a lovable goofball who enjoys both outdoor adventures and lazy days on the couch. He doesn't mind dressing up and loves to be part of the family fun.
Ideal Home
Brody would love a home with a secure backyard for zoomies and off-leash play. He has done well with friendly, laid-back female dogs and would be happy to have a canine companion, or he'd be content as your one-and-only pup. Because of his size and energy, he's best suited for a home with older, dog-savvy children (8-10+) who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. Brody is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Brody is a healthy boy with no ongoing health concerns mentioned.
Training & Support
Brody is housebroken and crate trained, and walks calmly on a loose leash. He's smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, with great obedience skills thanks to his foster mom. While he can get a little excited around assertive male dogs, he adapts well with calm guidance and positive reinforcement. An owner experienced with breeds like Cattle Dogs or Pitbulls, who can provide structure, consistency, and engaging activities like hikes or training classes, would be ideal.
