About Amaya

Amaya was found as a stray and taken to a rural shelter we help. The shelter was full, so we had to save her quickly. Thankfully, one of our wonderful fosters agreed to bring Amaya into her home, and we were able to save her life. She has been a great dog since we rescued her, and we know she’ll make her new family very happy. Amaya is a 1-year-old, 60-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix.

Ideal Home

Amaya has been very sweet and gentle with children as young as 7. She is also cat-friendly and gets along great with the cat in her foster home. She gets along with every dog she meets too.

Ongoing Health

Amaya is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Amaya is house-trained and leash-trained. She has a laid-back personality and isn’t a high-energy girl. She likes to go for walks.
