Latte is an energetic, 1-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix weighing 52 pounds. She is a treat-motivated girl who is eager to please and loves learning new things. Latte already knows how to sit and lie down, and she is continuing to work on her leash manners. She can be a little nervous in new environments, but her foster mom is helping her build confidence by taking her to new places. She doesn't react to people or other dogs on walks. Latte has blossomed since arriving in rescue, thanks to the structure and positive reinforcement provided by her foster home. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She has also been around small dogs and puppies and has been very gentle with them. Latte is also great with small children and babies.
Ideal Home
Latte is a high-energy dog who would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise and ongoing training. She would love to have another active dog to play with, as she can get very excited and bouncy around new dogs. If she is the only dog in the home, she will need daily exercise and enrichment to ensure she thrives.

Training & Support
Latte is house-trained and does well in her crate for up to four hours at a time. She shows no signs of separation anxiety. While she is working on her leash manners and confidence in new environments, her eagerness to learn and loving nature mean she will be a wonderful companion with continued guidance.
