Hey there! I'm Piper, a sweet and shy 2-year-old Pit Bull/Aussie mix who weighs in at about 33 pounds. My heart is as big as they come, and I absolutely adore my sister Lilly, drawing a lot of comfort and love from her. Because of this, I would do best in a home that already has other canine companions. I love children and get along wonderfully with other dogs. While I haven't met any feline friends yet, we can arrange a test if you have one! I'm a playful and gentle soul who truly blossoms when I feel safe and loved. Belly rubs, butt scratches, a good bone to chew, and chasing tennis balls are my absolute favorite things! I'm a quick learner and respond well to gentle guidance.
Ideal Home
A home with other dogs is a must for me. I also adore children and would thrive in a loving environment where I can feel secure and cherished.

Training & Support
I can freeze up when walking on a leash, but with patience and gentle encouragement, I gain confidence and get moving. I am crate trained, but my leash manners are still a work in progress. I'm not yet potty trained, but I'm a fast learner and my foster family believes I'll pick it up quickly, similar to my brother who was fully trained in just two weeks. I do tend to jump up when I get excited, but it's from pure joy, not aggression! I'd love some help learning better manners in this area.
