Petunia is discovering just how wonderful life can be! This sweet Beagle may be a little shy at first, but she's gaining confidence every day and becoming more comfortable with the people around her. Curious by nature, Petunia loves to explore and is learning that new experiences can be exciting rather than scary. She's been building trust with her caregivers, is doing well walking on a leash, and enjoys her time in the play yard. Petunia also gets along well with other dogs, and a confident canine companion could help her continue to blossom.

From the Ridglan Farms test facility, Petunia is an affectionate and resilient pup eager to experience life's joys. Beagles from this program have unique needs; they can be skittish and easily frightened, making them significant flight risks. They also possess the incredible curiosity and determination bred into Beagles for centuries. Once they catch an interesting scent, following it is pure instinct!
