Meet Norman!

Norman is a snuggly four-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Retriever/American Pitbull Terrier mix from Durham, NC. This 73-pound "velvet hippo" has a heart as big as his frame and charming tortilla chip-shaped ears. He's a gentle, goofy soul who lives for cuddles, comfy dog beds, and quality time with his people. Norman is a classic couch potato with a silly streak, often flopping onto his back mid-snuggle to flash an adorable grin. Walks, training games, and belly rubs are his favorite activities, and he truly shines when given love and structure. His routine is flexible, and he's happy as long as he has someone to nap near and a little mental stimulation each day. Norman comes with his crate, pad and cover, two dog beds, a dog cot, and his favorite toys to help him settle in.

Ideal Home

Norman needs a calm, structured environment with a secure, fenced yard. He does best without small children. He is compatible with older, respectful kids and some dogs, provided introductions are slow and careful.
