Cherry

Cherrybelle is a 2-3 year old, 55lb Pittie mix who's ready for her "do-over"! She had a rough start but has been working hard with her foster family to get the care and love she deserves. Cherrybelle has beaten heartworm, had successful cherry-eye surgery, and has gained weight to become strong and healthy with a beautiful coat. She's learned to play with toys and her doggy friends and even enjoys a good romp in the mud!

Ideal Home

Cherrybelle is house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn't love her crate, she does well in it. She's working on her manners around other dogs, as she can sometimes be territorial and pushy. She loves playing with her canine companions but also cherishes quality time with her people, enjoying couch cuddles, play sessions, and ear massages.

Ongoing Health

Cherrybelle has successfully completed treatment for heartworm and had surgery to correct cherry-eye. She is now healthy and well-nourished.

Training & Support

Cherrybelle is house-trained and crate-trained. She is still learning to manage her excitement around other dogs and can sometimes be territorial. With continued positive reinforcement and guidance, she's sure to become a well-mannered pup.
