Lex is a bouncy, playful, and loving pitbull-cattle dog mix who is excited to make new friends, both human and canine! She's 56 lbs of pure happiness and is the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug. Lex has a lot of energy and loves to play, especially with other dogs. She has a rough play style but is considerate of her playmates and good at reading vibes. She seems to enjoy playing with female dogs the most but would likely do well in a home with males or females.
Ideal Home
Lex would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and an active owner who is familiar with high-energy breeds like cattle dogs. A home with older children would be ideal, as Lex can be very energetic during play. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.
Ongoing Health
Lex is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes spay/neuter, DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Lex's leash skills need some work as she can pull a little when trying to greet new people. She is a motivated learner and would benefit from consistent training.
