Zara is an 11-week-old Shepherd mix with a playful and energetic spirit. She loves to wrestle with her toys and her siblings and enjoys a good run. Zara and her littermates were rescued from an organization in rural West Virginia, and we believe they may have some Brussels Griffon in their mix. She is approximately 10-15 lbs as of June 24th and is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown.

Ideal Home

Zara would thrive in a home where someone is present for at least half of the workday. Puppies need interaction and shouldn't be left alone for extended periods. All current pets in the household must be up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered.

Ongoing Health

Zara has received age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings. She will need to be spayed by her adopter at a local vet, and once the procedure is completed and documented, a $100 spay/neuter deposit will be refunded.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Zara is still learning. She enjoys playtime and is social. Consistent training and a patient approach will help her grow into a well-adjusted companion.

Zara will be available for adoption at PetSmart, 5401 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD, on July 12th from 11 AM to 3 PM.
