Tova is a resilient survivor of a cruelty case, and she's taking her first brave steps toward understanding what it means to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in a home. While she's still building confidence and trust, the progress she's making is incredibly encouraging! Tova has a very sweet personality and loves to be near her people, often seeking gentle kisses and quiet companionship. She can still be a bit nervous about being touched, so she'll need a patient and understanding home that will allow her to move at her own pace. Tova is a smart girl and learns quickly. She's already calmer at feeding time, sleeps soundly through the night in her kennel, and walks beautifully on leash with no reactivity. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home, though she's still discovering how to play and interact socially. Her foster suspects Tova may have a hearing impairment, though the extent of this is still unknown. Despite everything she's been through, Tova continues to show incredible resilience every single day.
