Robin is a special 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. He weighs about 85 pounds and came from a hoarding situation, so he's still learning what it means to be loved and how to trust. Robin isn't the life of the party and prefers a calm environment. He's a thoughtful, sensitive dog who takes his time getting comfortable with new people, places, and experiences. He'll need an adopter with patience and understanding as he continues to build confidence and form lasting bonds. When something startles him, Robin's instinct is to retreat to a safe place, like his crate or a quiet corner of the yard. With consistency, kindness, and reassurance, we're watching him blossom more every day.
Robin's personality shines around other dogs. While not overly rambunctious, he enjoys canine companionship and has started showing his playful side with his foster sibling. He likes to explore at his own pace and is treat-motivated, responding well to gentle correction. He has naturally good manners and doesn't counter surf or steal food. Instead, he quietly observes, learns, and slowly lets his guard down. Robin is a curious boy who is still a bit lean for his size, but with good nutrition and continued care, he'll fill out into the handsome boy he's meant to be.

Robin would greatly benefit from a securely fenced yard, a patient and understanding adopter who will let him progress at his own pace, a confident resident dog to help build his confidence, and a calm environment where he can continue to learn that the world is a safe place.
