He thrives on interaction and loves to be included in all family activities. Zuko has already mastered the art of living in an apartment, proving himself to be both house- and crate-trained. He's a smart cookie who enjoys learning new things and takes immense pride in his accomplishments, especially when it comes to his training. His foster family has invested a lot of time and love into him, and it shows in his impeccable manners and adaptable nature. Zuko is also a fantastic running buddy and loves to feel the wind in his fur as he explores the world with his favorite people. He's a social butterfly who greets everyone with an open heart, but his true passion lies in making canine friends.

Ideal Home

Zuko would be a perfect fit for an active family who enjoys including their dog in daily adventures, from walks and outings to training sessions and plenty of playtime. While he's proven to be a great apartment dweller, he'll need sufficient exercise, enrichment, and social interaction to keep his busy mind and happy spirit satisfied. He also shares his home with pet rabbits and has learned to coexist respectfully, but a home without cats would be best, as he can be a bit overwhelming for them.

Transporation

Zuko is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up locations are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
