Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet soul with a heart of gold! After a tough start in Texas where he was hit by a car, Benson has blossomed into a resilient and loving companion. He bravely underwent a leg amputation and has discovered the joys of human kindness, especially in the form of tasty treats and cool air conditioning.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic environment. He’d do best with children aged 12 and up who understand and respect a dog's boundaries. He's a bit of an observer, true to his Great Pyrenees heritage, and prefers a peaceful home over a chaotic one. He's not looking for constant attention but enjoys simply being in the same room, keeping a watchful eye and soaking in your company. A home with minimal stairs would be ideal to ensure his long-term comfort as a tripod, though he navigates his world with impressive ease.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod due to a past leg amputation. He gets around well, but a home with fewer stairs is preferred for his long-term comfort.

Training & Support

Benson is already potty trained and a perfect gentleman during car rides and vet visits. He's a lower-energy guy who enjoys a slower pace of life and is looking for peace and a soft place to rest.
